At the @labiennale Arte 2024 – Giardino delle Vergini, AMEBE unveiled a powerful reinterpretation of Eve’s myth. Two modern Eves, emancipated and confident, stand beneath a majestic tree, free from Adam’s shadow. Their union, marked by the “knotted serpent,” symbolizes a profound struggle against patriarchal norms.

As they taste the forbidden fruit, we are invited to ponder: What would humanity become in a world untouched by original sin?

This manifesto boldly reclaims the role of women in our shared history, bridging the dream of Eden with today’s harsh realities.

“It’s a truth universally acknowledged, that the parody of a parody of a work of art, is essentially a work of art”.

It is said that irony will save the world (or maybe not) but it’s absolutely through irony that we choose to realize our works.
We export our cultural heritage by exploiting its timeless elegance, reinterpreting it and combining craftsmanship and technology. We can therefore say that our works are the result of a creative tension between classic and technology.
